Delicious food with village charm
Waking up to the good aroma of freshly prepared breakfast was a highlight. The staff, especially Irene, were cute and knowledgeable about local attractions.
While the cozy room setup was lovely, WiFi connectivity was quite weak was good. A bit of a hiccup for modern travelers.

Spotlessly clean accommodation, well-trained and very friendly staff at the reception desk. Comfy beds, a coffeemaker, an ironing set, and a work desk in the room. Large bathrooms with a separate walk-in shower. Freshly cooked breakfast, IDEAL location right by the beautiful garden and restaurant and fancy hotels fancy castles. Plenty of food options just a short walk away from the venue.

Everything about the Step House was first class! The breakfast was a standout, cooked to order and delicious. Plus, the spacious Beautiful Double Room had a charming decor that really added to the overall ambiance.
A couple of small things could up the game, our hallway mirror had fingerprints, and while the bed was comfy, it felt a tad tired with some stains on the stool. A few cosmetic touches would do wonders!

Ideal location in a superb area, just off the Step House for a lovely 24 hour break, the beautifully appointed Cellar restaurant, and the famous Borris House. Very quick check-in and late check-out, parking nearby...

Charming atmosphere with gorgeous gardens for relaxation.
The bar area was uncomfortably warm throughout the evening, and while we appreciated the staff's willingness to serve our desserts elsewhere, the limited dining options due to the restaurant being closed was disappointing.

Just a fine choice for a brief hiatus in Borris with very nice value for money. The dinner offered was well-prepared and might just be the best I've ever had in a hotel. Walk around the town in the morning for a fresh start.
